Dear Mr./Ms. _________________:

It has come to the attention of the Plumas County District Attorney’s Office that on _________________ you were notified that your child, _____________________,

was declared a truant because of excess and/or unexcused absences and/or tardiness.

Due to this situation a meeting has been scheduled for ___________ at ___________ a.m./p.m. with ______________________________.

This meeting is scheduled in an attempt to make one last effort to resolve this problem without further action.  If this time is not convenient, please contact ________________ at (         ) ___________________immediately to reschedule this meeting.

Your failure to attend this meeting will result in a referral to S.A.R.B. and may result in prosecution by this office.

Sincerely,
